As a true pacifist and C.O., I must object to the idea that only the dead have seen the end of war. I see the end of war in my heart. It is attainable. But not without sacrifice. That’s part about being a pacifist that most people fail to appreciate. I am willing to die for my beliefs. So much so that when attacked I will not fight back. But neither will I yield. Peace starts with us, one person at a time.
