With all due respect to the boy’s mother, who is understandably upset, I think the kid is a breath of fresh air. Brave, adventurous, thoughtful, and his name is Farris. Come on, how can you not love him?

No problem Dave. Always wanted to see other countries so I joined the Navy in ‘51 and got to see many countries, some dangerous, some safe.

Ah, there is a chasm of difference between courage and foolheartiness. You can probably guess where this kid goes in my book.
